2011-08-21JOSEFA, AN EXAMPLE TO FOLLOW

Quite often sport surprises us with extraordinary stories, but the one of Josefa Idem is really hard to find. Yesterday our national paddler was qualified for the 8th in her career Olympic games. 

She started in Los Angeles in 1984 and will compete in London in 2012 (she'll be 47 by the way) She has always demonstrated great love and passion for this sport, and never stopped being unchangingly faithful and devoted to it.

I do admire this extraordinary athlete, capable of overcoming any limits and living this sport with the great respect to its rules. Always smiling, she manages perfectly well to synchronize her professional career with her family life and all the work she carries out in her free of competitions and trainings time. 

Idem is the great example to follow for all of us, me included.
